Stampede Mela is committed to a safe, respectful, and enjoyable event for everyone. By purchasing a ticket and entering the venue, every guest agrees to this Code of Conduct. It is enforced by event staff, Barry Enterprises security, and the Calgary Police Service.

A.1 Expected Behaviour

Treat fellow guests, performers, staff, security, and vendors with respect. Follow the directions of event staff and security at all times. Drink responsibly. Look out for one another, and tell a staff member if you or someone else needs help.

No re-entry. This is a no-re-entry event. Once you leave the venue you will not be readmitted, regardless of ticket or credential type — this applies to General Admission, VIP, and Artist guest-list holders alike. Plan to stay for the event.

A.2 Prohibited Behaviour (Zero Tolerance)

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in removal:

  • Violence or fighting of any kind.
  • Threats or threatening behaviour, including intimidation.
  • Harassment of any kind — verbal, physical, or sexual.
  • Discriminatory conduct — including based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other ground.
  • Throwing objects or projectiles of any kind.
  • Intoxication-related misconduct — being a danger or disruption to yourself or others through alcohol or drug use.
  • Blocking or obstructing exits, aisles, or emergency routes.
  • Entering restricted, backstage, or staff-only areas without authorization.
  • Climbing fences, barriers, or structures, or bypassing security screening.
  • Refusing to follow the direction of event staff or security.
  • Possessing prohibited items (weapons, glass, outside alcohol, illegal drugs, projectiles — see the full list at entry).
  • Any illegal activity.

A.3 Consequences

Depending on the severity, consequences include:

  • Denied entry (including refusal at screening or due to intoxication or a ban-list flag).
  • Ejection from the venue.
  • No re-entry once ejected or removed for intoxication.
  • Addition to the venue ban list (tracked via PatronScan), affecting future entry here and at participating venues.
  • Police involvement, including removal under Section 69.1 of the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act, and charges where applicable.

Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose conduct is unsafe or unlawful. Decisions of event staff and security are final on-site.

Stampede Mela tickets are only sold through official registration at stampedemela.com. Once your form is submitted and confirmed, your scannable ticket is sent directly to your email — that’s the only ticket that will be accepted at the gate.

We strongly discourage buying or selling tickets through resellers, scalpers, social media marketplaces, classifieds, or any other third-party or unofficial source. Stampede Mela is not involved in, does not authorize, and takes no responsibility for any transaction that happens outside of our official registration process.

If you choose to buy a ticket from someone other than Stampede Mela directly:

  • You are doing so entirely at your own risk. We have no way to verify or guarantee that a resold ticket is genuine, unused, or will scan successfully at entry.
  • We are not a party to that transaction and cannot assist with refunds, disputes, or losses connected to it — that’s a matter between you and the seller.
  • Fake, duplicated, altered, or previously-used tickets will not be honoured, and holders may be refused entry with no compensation or reimbursement from Stampede Mela.
  • We recommend against sending e-transfers or payment to anyone claiming to sell Stampede Mela tickets unless you can independently verify them — if it looks off, it probably is.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stampede Mela, its organizers, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any loss, cost, or damage arising from tickets obtained outside our official channel, including counterfeit tickets, denied entry, or failed transactions with third-party sellers.
